We would like to welcome you to participate and attend the ASID Florida South Chapter, 2008 Design Excellence Awards. The Awards Competition is dedicated to the advancement of design excellence through recognition of outstanding and significant design contributions by the ASID design community in South Florida. All ASID Florida South Chapter Professional and Allied members, in good standing, are eligible to enter.
The ASID Florida South Chapter is only having big conferences and galas every other year. This year the Design Excellence Awards will be announced on Friday, September 27th, 2008, at the ASID Installation and Award Party at Indian River Plantation in Stuart, Florida, where the installation of the 2008/2009 Board of Directors will take place.
The Categories for 2008 Design Excellence Awards are:
Residential Traditional Design over 5,000 S/F
Residential Transitional Design over 5,000 S/F
Residential Contemporary Design over 5,000 S/F
Residential Traditional Design under 5,000 S/F
Residential Transitional Design under 5,000 S/F
Residential Contemporary Design under 5,000 S/F
Single Space - ex: bedroom, living room, - Not part of a project in another category
Bathroom Design - Not part of a project in another category
Kitchen Design - Not part of a project in another category
Sustainable (Green) Interior Space Design - including how you met the specific sustainable or universal design criteria
This year AISD/FSC will be offering a three day weekend from September 26th to September 28th, 2008 with a Product Expo, 20 hours of CEU's, Installation of 2008/2009 Board of Directors and Design Excellence Awards Party at Indian River Plantation, Stuart, Florida.
