Unless you have been living on another planet, you have probably learned about the cultural evolution that is beginning to effect the US population. And that is the number of people who are living longer and older lives.

The language many designers use with their commercial clients is completely different than that spoken to their residential counterparts. Often, a designer who has a foot on each side of this commercial/residential spectrum ends up changing their communication skills and even their personality when crossing that line. Commercially speaking, designers become part of the corporate world when stepping out of the residential arena. Sure, the language of commercial design is quite professional and highly technical, yet, it is still full of passion.
